You have this in your yaml-file:

databases: — name: my-craft-site

change it to: databases: — "my-craft-site"

That fixed it for me as well. Thanks!

Thanks @justb81. That hasn't worked for me. I made the change you suggested. I no longer get the orginal error, but I now get a different error.
