Can you change your mail settings not to use SSL. I also have Godaddy hosting and noticed that if I use SSL it doesn't send the emails.

To find out you email settings, log into your CPanel and then go to Email->Accounts->Mail Configuration.

You will choose an account and then there should be some manual settings. From here get the Non-SSL settings and use the outgoing server settings. Mine look like:

Username: xxx@xxxcom Password: Use the email account’s password. Outgoing Server: xxx.xxx.com SMTP Port: 25

Try using this instead.
