Try using this form template:

{!! Form::open(array('url' => '/postDev' , 'files' => true ,'enctype'   =>  'multipart/form-data' )) !!}
    {!! Form::text('title', null , ['class' => "form-input" ] ) !!
    {!! Form::file('image1','',array('id'=>'','class'=>'')) !!}
    {!! Form::submit('Send', array('class' => 'btn-right')); !!}
{!! Form::close() !!}

Thanks for your reply, and sorry for my late answer.

I used a more drastic approach, I reinstalled Laravel in a new folder and copied views, controller configfiles etc (the project isn't bigger than it's possible yet). Don't know what the problem was but it did work after that.
