Solution

just create a new filter in app/filters.php

Route::filter('isAdmin', function() {
	if(Auth::user()->role != 'admin') {
		return Redirect::to('/');
	}
});

and use it like

Route::group(['before' => 'auth|isAdmin'], function() ...
