I don't see how your sending the data to the view.
... literally nothing is appearing in my view ...
Do you mean nothing as white screen or just the @foreach($products ?
Have you var_dumped the $products and made sure the format still matches what the view expects? Just before returning the view, aka ... return View::make('...
