Installation Packages

I get the following message when upgrading one of my L4.0 projects to 4.1

phpseclib/phpseclib suggests installing ext-gmp (Install the GMP (GNU Multiple Precision) extension in order to speed up arbitrary precision integer arithmetic operations.)

I couldn't get much info from googling so I'm asking here if anyone knows how to install ext-gmp?

It's a recommendation, not a requirement - anyway, this is a PHP extension - see the following link for details: http://www.php.net/manual/en/gmp.installation.php
