Installation Configuration

Hello i am trying to figure out how to switch my PHP version so i can install laravel 5. when i run php -v in the command line is says 5.3 while wamp say it is using 5.5, how would i switch this so i am using the newer version so i don't get any error while installing laravel.

On Windows, you should use Laragon intead of Wamp or Xampp. With WAMP, you will face with many kinds of error.
