Please search Ajax, Ajax posting, ect there are tons of post on this already.
i want the ajax script in the view to be able to listen to the controller and intercept reponses, i wich you have better keywords to find how to do that
Solution
a single ajax request should receive a single response. For push notifications you should use websocket or server sent events: http://www.howopensource.com/2014/12/introduction-to-server-sent-events/
