In all honesty - Laravel is here to stay. L4 is an amazing piece of software as far as web development is concerned, and even if Taylor decided to stop developing - guaranteed you'd have several spin-off projects that pick up the slack. It's THAT good.
Put your worries at ease - we run some massive production applications off L4 :)
Hi @Kibele, If you are betting for a large application, You should have invested time in taking a look at codebase. As far as code of Laravel, It seems pretty straight to use/change it without any worry. As @kirkbushell said, In future, if Taylor decides to stop development, there will be other groups/peers would love to take on from there. Alternatively, we can also develop our own version. ;)
