Hi all,
You may or may not have heard of www.microweber.com before, but here's the thing: On 01.01.2015 at 00:00 we released our first take on refactoring the whole thing to run on Laravel 5! It was quite exciting, I have to say, but also sometimes - really frustrating.
Microweber is and will remain open-source. Our Marketplace, however, is not. This is the place where users can buy more modules and templates for their websites. Like other extension directories but hopefully - much better :-) So, you would be able to make some cash or just gain a user base for your Laravel code via Microweber users - the price is up to you. You could always just wrap existing open-source solutions for use in Microweber in case you don't have your own custom code.
Check it out, it's fun to use and v1.0 leverages the full power of the One and Only Framework. The migration process has not been completed. Since Laravel 5 is not complete yet we'll take another few weeks before our own stable release, but using the composer.lock from our repository works for now.
So, catch a glimpse of the idea and see if it would be of interest to you. Feel free to write extensions and fork the repository, customize things, and generally play around until you love it! :)
Hey guys, We're still working on minor bugfixes and new features, but as promised, (here's the branch for v.1.0)[https://github.com/microweber/microweber/tree/1.0]. If you come across any bugs or have an awesome feature in mind please open an issue. All developers are welcome to contribute. We've scheduled the Marketplace for the end of January so stay tuned.
Impressive!
Had to use the installer from the site and deal with some permission issues about creating directories but got it installed.
Awesome! Please let me know what you think we should do about it next -- any improvements, suggestions and feature requests are welcomed.
Hi We are a few weeks from stable release with more templates, modules, an open for submissions marketplace, OAuth 2.0 authentication server (also open for developers), growing docs and codebase, and more. Clone the 1.0 branch from https://github.com/microweber/microweber. Upon release we'll separate the core in its own repository like Laravel itself so you can easily integrate it in existing apps. We want to make it easy and fun for developers to write and distribute custom modules so feedback will be much appreciated. We especially want to know if you have any trouble learning so we can improve the docs.
Hi everyone!
