I use PHPStorm, which isn't the cheapest in the world, but has great support, and my company has always paid for it. You can customize almost everything, and there is a great developer community of plugins for it. If you are just starting out with PHP though, i would recommend SublimeText, it doesn't do as much auto-typing for you as PHPStorm would, but that can be really helpful if you are learning the language.
