Simple answer: nope. Just put them in the views directory where they belong. Any particular reason why you'd want to do that anyways?
Yes of course you can.
This is how most devs manage their themes.
This is especially useful for things like a CMS for example.
Some people put everything in htdocs, but I can't think of a good reason to do this unless your host sucks.
