It sounds great for newcomers, although from my experience, such courses often do not have the time to touch upon important details due to budget and/or time restrictions. These may include: updating your code for production, advanced Eloquent relations, etc. I believe that such limitations should be addressed and the user informed of a proper way .
The issue is that a "basic" app project has lots of coverage already, best if you would make a series from your own experience and what were your main roadblocks.
