My agency is considering the possibility of setting up homestead as our development environment. As a team we would like to take advantage of the ability to to version your running environment alongside our code as well as "seamlessly" collaborate on projects, in the agency and with freelancers. I was just wondering if we were to run different virtual machines on our computers, if this would add complications when trying to collaborate. Anyone have experience?
Homestead is easier to setup,
Try using Docker instead. Althought it takes a while to set it up, you can maintain a Docker repo for your dev, testing staging and production environments. This would be much easier since you can't use Vagrant machines for other than dev env.
