Hi! I had same problem in CentOS. The problem was in disk quotas. As I had only one user on the server, so i disabled it.

    quotaoff -vaug

I think the problem is already solved but for the others who have the problem this will be th possible solution. Just read about Managing Disk Quotas in the documentation for your unix os.
