I'm experiencing abysmal performance with Homestead and Laravel 5. About 2500 ms of response time for a moderately big Laravel app on Homestead (i5 2.6 Ghz processor, assigned 1 core and 1 GB of Ram, tried to tweak the settings) vs on the test production server, where response times are 10x better - 200-300 ms.
Someone supposedly solved this problem in this thread: http://laravel.io/forum/12-01-2014-homestead-20-really-slow
