Without downloading the box homestead and vagrant can't do a thing.
There is the directory /Users/josh/.homestead where base can be created?

the answer lies in the Vagrantfile. Go to where it says "base" and change it to "laravel/homestead" Do a vagrant or homestead up and it should work
