I did the same. thought i have no idea about security implications here. good question.
I needed to use the username for logging in instead of the email. What I did was override the methods I needed in the AuthController (In this case, I overrode postLogin()). [url=http://www.learnalanguage.com/learn-norwegian/]learnalanguage - learn norwegian[/url]
