Is anything useful or helpful in the logs?

I did a re-install and still nothing. Logs are empty now

Can you access to http://localhost

Yes, but localhost is my non-virtual web server, located in the usual OS X directory Library/WebServer/Documents/

Solution

Wow it was Hotspot Shield. I had it disable before and during reboot it was enable. Once I disabled it everything is working.

Hope this helps someone else so they don't waste as much time as I did. Now I can get back to Laracasts videos and re-start learning laravel.
