I had the same issue, seems to be with too many open connections in MySQL. Not really sure, but you can change some settings, just search for the error.

Yeah I tried changing these mysql settings, but it still occurs sometime (mostly when running heavy mysql backups/dumps at night)..

table_open_cache 128=>16384

table_definition_cache 1024=>16384
