I doubt if the GPL or MIT would restrict you to personal use. I have never looked into the licenses that Barry suggested but I have a feeling those are the ones to look into.

Any reason why to cut out businesses? I can understand not wanting to cut out the profit side that you might lose but many developer houses do contribute back ... well the ones that can make opensource profitable at least ;)
