Hi,

There is no need to be very confused. I can understand it can be a bit overwhelming as Laravel is not just a MVC, it's much powerful and comes with lots of features. The documentation is on how to use Laravel, it doesn't explain what is MVC, it's not exactly where you should start.

First you should understand what MVC is (It's a simple concept actually), Do a Google search. Your mission should only be trying to understand what MVC is at first, not how to use Laravel.

And then, for laravel, a best place I always felt like to start is http://daylerees.com/codebright/codebright and then nothing beats http://laracasts.com

All the best.
