Laraval 5 on Google App Engine

kthomson posted 2 years ago

This great article I've been reading talks about setting up laravel 4 on GAE. and the article is a touch dated.

(Getting started with Laravel on PHP for App Engine - https://gae-php-tips.appspot.com/2013/10/22/getting-started-with-laravel-on-php-for-app-engine/ )

Is there anything that changed 4->5 that I need to be aware of while trying to set up a laravel 5 project?

Or anything that changed in GAE when they released the final php engine (things like cURL, or mcrypt) that make some sections of the setup article unneeded?

Yeah, the article is great indeed. I would recommend to take a look at:

shpasser/gae-support-l5 package (http://packagist.org)
