I have same problem. i'm using windows 7 32bits.
search a solution about three days and without success.
tried of all and not working!
in my work worked in windows 64bits! in home nothing!
you tried to check the BIOS if your processor has VT-x technology enabled?

My CPU is to old => http://ark.intel.com/de/products/36547/Intel-Core2-Quad-Proces...
This processor has no VT-x technology. Is that the reason why the virtual machine is not working?

ideal that you see if you can enable in the BIOS.

finally! i solved my problem with connection timeout! :)
My windows was 32bits. i changed to 64bits!
