I haven't checked to how far back it goes but from what I remember, Laravel started getting famous from 3.x

I was bored so i thought id look. There aren't any tagged releases for v1 or v2 but I found these commits. This seems like the final version for version 1 and this seems to be the last for version 2.

Also this was the first commit
