I understand that just because Vagrant offers a vagrant ssh command does not at all autmatically mean that it offers a means of connecting through ssh by itself. I thought the suggestion (under the mentioned Error Message) to use clients like Git or PuttY was merely meant as a fallback. So I guess I'll have to resort to those mentioned tools. Any suggestion on which to use? I do have PuttY and also Git installed but there likely are more. Cygwin, perhaps? Suggestions?
