And fixed!

After looking through both my projects checking each file, finally decided to compare the .htaccess in public directory and it seems for the server i'm working on (i don't administer it), i have to force utf8 on the file.

AddDefaultCharset UTF-8 php_value default_charset UTF-8

Seems that without this on the .htaccess, laravel (on my server) won't show stacktraces on error.

I thought about deleting the post but maybe it's better if i leave it up just incase someone else finds himself on the same situation?
