Forum Vagrant SSH connection timeout

Installation Configuration Authentication

I'm trying to setup a Homestead environment and I'm having some issues when running 'vagrant up'.

I'm getting the connection timeout messages. This issues seems to be a popular issue however I am unable to find any solutions. When I launch the VirtualBox GUI I notice the screenshot is prompting for a homestead login.

I have ensured that my BIOS has virtualization technology enabled and I have provided proper path names to my SSH keys.

I'm currently running Windows 8.1 64bit and the laravel/homestead box seems to be a 32bit OS if that could pose an issue.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey jromero, I was recently having to deal with this issue myself, but I can assure you it has nothing to do with the 32bit architecture. What is the cmd output you get when you run "vagrant up" on your Homestead directory?
