Is customising the plugin an option? You could make it post to a particular URI you want, or something like that. What is this particular plugin?

I think you are attacking this problem from the wrong angle. I consider this to be quite harmful of a library to force you through using a single route for all of your application. Again, what is the name of this jQuery plugin ?
You are right, you helped me to rethink about it, and when revewing the js code source I discovered that there is a wrapper that add the actions feature . The plugin is http://www.datatables.net/ and the wrapper is for the metronic theme.
Now, that is not a core feature, I will edit this to call the separate routes and then reload.
