Yes, I cannot do a composer install due to the fact that larval.com/laravel.phar is not accessible (I suppose)

For a moment forget about the word phar and try:
composer create-project laravel/laravel --prefer-dist
Download laravel from github first.

I realized that laravel seems to be installed (I get the welcome screen). The problem is that when I install it I get a 500 error just at the end of the install process:
Writing lock file Generating autoload files Status: 500 Internal Server Error

I'm trying to install this behind a proxy corporate, and it won't let me download via Composer. does nobady have the laravel.phar availible somewhere?
