Are you using the latest Laravel? This was fixed i think https://github.com/laravel/framework/issues/7573

Currently using v5.1.26 we using cron to dump timestamps, and all are in UTC. Server TimeZone is set to Asia/Lolkata

Should I set timezone in PHP also ?

Got it. Needed to configure in config/app.php
