Hi,
I've never worked with that before, but you are creating the input using Form::text('textarea'... - I believe the name of the control will in fact be textarea and not comment which is what you seem to be expecting in your controller.
Also might be nice if you cleaned up your post a bit so it's readable; I was almost gonna skip this one :-)
