Redis - job killed after 10 minutes: timeout set to 1800

Christian Busch posted 5 months ago

Dear all, I've run into some problems when setting up my laravel queue.

I created a new worker on a redis queue with timeout 1800. The jobs that are pushed to this queue are usually running longer than 10 minutes - round about 9-15 minutes.

Now I got the problem that every job that is running longer than 10 minutes gets terminated. The problem occurs on my local machine as well as on a laravel forge instance.

Am I doing something wrong?

Cheers, Chris
