Why you want to run vm on the production ?

I use Digital Ocean for my own laravel project and to be honest the amount of work required to spin up a default DO LAMP server and configure it are minimal and they have great tutorials on the site for it.

just thought it would be "Easier" somehow.. having same software on both local / prod env
