This may be caused by many factors:

  1. does the session ID in cookie (it should be called laravel_session) changes? If yes, this may be a sign for some problems with session storage (eg. file permissions)
  2. what is the TTL of the session cookie - maybe it's to short and your session cookie gets expired too soon
  3. are you using subdomains? This may be the problem of many session cookies which can be read randomly by a server
