Do you mean that your website get a request for every device? Or do you need/want to poll with the mqtt protocol to see the devices?
Depending on the working it can that you need to handle 10000 tasks or 1 task that handle 10000 devices. That and the amount of work that need to be done for 1 task can make a big difference about what you need.
It is possible but can require more server resources.
