I am trying to write the code for sending email activation for registered users. When user registers, it should automatically sends an account activation/verification/validation email with "welcome message and link" to activate the login page.
I am running it in localhost, XAMPP and I am getting the following error:
Swift_TransportException Expected response code 250 but got code "535", with message "535-5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted. Learn more at 535 5.7.8 http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=14257 g3sm15063344lam.18 - gsmtp "
Please help me to solve this.

Username and Password not accepted
Is your error. Have you made sure those settings are correct?
Which settings you mean?
The username (gmail username) and password (gmail password) which I have provided is correct.
Should I need to change something else in the coding?
You have to log into you gmail account and go the the security settings and notify them that it was you trying to access your account. They put a block on it because it looked suspicious.
Go to this link and try again.
