can you confirm this by uninstalling the debug bar? if this solves it & this is causing some sort of issue then create an issue on the github page for this.. ALternatively you can ignore that and dont use it for your production environment
When you pass a variable to a view from a route or a controller, you can use that variable in all the related views.
When you pass a variable to a view using a view composer, you can use that variable only in that certain view
